Fried Grease recently released their first EP, Huevos, and are busy booking festival dates and opening slots through the rest of the year. The release is a sampling of road-tested songs that, while composed before the band was born, were collectively rewritten and rearranged during the early days to help define their sound. The EP marks a new chapter for Fried Grease, as they make a statement to the world that they’re here... and they’re here to be taken seriously.

In less than two short years, Fried Grease has begun to build a dedicated following of fans that keep coming back for their consistently strong performances.  They’re becoming a go-to band for headlining shows and opening slots on stages across Colorado.  While their music, at times, resembles the soulful lyrical qualities of musical contemporaries Widespread Panic or Little Feat, they demand the attention of listeners with their high energy, tightly structured improvisational jams to the likes of Galactic, The Allman Brothers and Umphrey’s McGee.  And although their signature sound is nobody’s but their own, you’ll hear their obvious influences ranging from The Meters to Frank Zappa and everything in between. Fried Grease reminds us why funky grooves and rock-n-roll work so well together.
